What We Collect

When you register for an API key, we store:

• Your email address (for account identification)
• A hashed version of your API key (we never store the raw key)
• Monthly usage counts

What We Don't Collect

We do not store:

• Invoice content or recipient data
• PDF files (generated on the fly and immediately returned)
• Company names, addresses, or financial information from your invoices
• Uploaded logos or images

Data Processing

Invoice data is processed in memory only. Once your PDF is generated and returned in the API response, all invoice data is immediately discarded. No invoice content is ever written to disk, logged, or stored in a database.

Third-Party Services

• Netlify — hosting and serverless functions
• Google AdSense — advertising on our consumer site (uses cookies)
• RapidAPI — API marketplace distribution (if accessing via RapidAPI)

Cookies

Our site uses cookies from Google AdSense for ad personalization. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

Data Deletion

To delete your API key and associated data, email hello@buildinvoice.co.
