What We Collect

When you register for an API key, we store:

• Your email address (for account identification)
• A hashed version of your API key (we never store the raw key)
• Monthly usage counts

What We Don't Collect

We do not store:

• Invoice content or recipient data
• PDF files (generated on the fly and immediately returned)
• Company names, addresses, or financial information from your invoices
• Uploaded logos or images

Data Processing

Invoice data is processed in memory only. Once your PDF is generated and returned in the API response, all invoice data is immediately discarded. No invoice content is ever written to disk, logged, or stored in a database.

Third-Party Services

• Netlify — hosting and serverless functions
• Google AdSense — advertising on our consumer site (uses cookies)
• Google Firebase — optional account authentication and data storage
• RapidAPI — API marketplace distribution (if accessing via RapidAPI)

Cookies

Our site uses cookies from Google AdSense for ad personalization. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

Optional Account & Data Storage

All Build tools work fully without an account. If you choose to sign in, we store:

• Your email address and display name
• Documents you explicitly save (e.g. quotes, invoices)
• Client contact information you enter

This data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and associated with your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing buildpdf.help@gmail.com.

If you do not create an account, no document data is stored.
